Name of Project: Discord Text to Image Bot
Proposal in One Sentence: Creating a discord bot that takes in text and generates art using VQGAN+CLIP or a similar model.
Description of the project and what problem is it solving: This idea was taken from the Medium blog post where the idea was to integrate machine learning models with the Algovera web3 hangout. The approach here would be to host build a discord bot and have it monitor a specific channel in the Discord for a specific command following some text that it will use to generate an image.
Grant Deliverables: At the end of the month, I will provide a finished Discord bot that can be added to a channel in the Algovera Discord that that integrates machine learning models. The final product will be able to provide an image given a text command and display it in the channel.
